So whether this is your 1st or 7th Time to Talk Day, it’s a great opportunity to be part of the movement to change how we ALL think and act about mental health.
The day itself is filled with conversations and activities supported by others happening all over the country to bust myths and break down mental health stigma.
Time To Talk Day encourages everyone to talk about mental health.
Mental health problems affect one in four of us yet people are still afraid to talk about it. For people with mental health problems not being able to talk about it can be one of the worst parts of the illness. So by getting people talking about mental health we can break down stereotypes, improve relationships, aid recovery and take the stigma out of something that affects us all.
Since ‘Time To Talk Day’ was first launched, it has sparked millions of conversations in schools, homes, workplaces, in the media and online.
So should you fancy a cup of Tea and a chat and maybe, if you are quick enough before they are all gone, even some chocolate biscuits, with Peter and other Norwich Time to Change Champions will be taking place on Thursday 6 February 2020 between 12 noon and 2pm here:
The Garden Room at The Norwich Wellbeing Centre,
15 Chapelfield East,
